Hello there and Please allow me to take just A few moments of
your time to introduce myself my Family & and my Vision to
you. I am Reverend Jeffery E. Ellis, the Pastor of The
Pentecostals of Hammond. I have been the pastor of the
Pentecostals of Hammond since December of 1986. I was 26
years of age when I started Pastoring. I have The sweetest Wife
that any pastor could ever want to assist me in pastoring this
fine church, We have two precious daughters Candace Ellis
Barber and Lacey Brooke Ellis and we have A wonderful
Son-in-Law Brent E. Barber they help support us in so many
ways such as ministers in music and Signing & multimedia
they also help us in the Youth Department as Assistant youth
Pastors. We are A growing church with soul winning on our
mind.
I was born and raised in Muncie Indiana until about age nine
then I moved to Hillsboro Ohio where I lived until age thirteen
1973 then I heard the voice of the Lord speak to me for my very
first time, which encouraged me to move to Louisiana to begin
my new life living for the Lord. I was baptized by Rev. Robert
Whitehead A UPCI Pastor in Ponchatoula, La. where we
attended church. Then My Dad in 1974 began to feel the call of
God on his life to minister the Gospel of truth, so we started A
church in Hammond La. in the downtown area of the city. We
had A tent Revival in the northern portion of the city in 1975 in the

The moto of our Church has always been "You don't have to give up anything to goto Heaven that you do not
have to give up to goto Hell." Pretty strong statement I know however it is so true if you would just stop for A
moment and really give it some thought.
Revelation discribes Hell or the Lake of Fire not only As A place of everlasting torment, but he also say's that it
is A place where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quiched..Their Worm Defined is their SOUL which is
the everliving never dying part of man also known as their FIVE SENCES. Hell is no Joke and Heaven awaits
the true saint of God that has made them selves ready by obeying the Scriptures.
In John's Gospel he Says in the 3rd Chapter verses 1-8 that man must be born Again the second time of the
water and of the spirit. "Marvel not that I said unto thee ye must be born again." Verse 6 says "That which is
born of Flesh is Flesh and that which is born of Spirit is Spirit."
Being born once or the first time failed me "Behold I was born in sin and shapen in iniquity and in SIN did my
mother concieve me" however being born Again has brought me joy and happiness in Christ Jesus my lord and
my God.
Acts 2:38 says Repent "turn away from sin and turn unto God" and be Baptized "Submerged in water or as
Romans 6:3-8 say's to be Buried with him in baptism. and ye shall recieve the Gift of the Holy Ghost. with the
evidence if speaking in other Tongues.

pastor . In 1977 I moved to Biloxi ,Ms where I meet my Darling Wife Sis. Ellis we got married in 1978 and in 1981
we moved to Hammond, La. to assist my dad with the church. Then in November 29th 1982 Candace our first
daughter was born she brought us much joy, we will always be in debt to God for her she was our Miracle child it
was A prophecy that came true. My dad Pastor James Ellis pastored until 1984 then he went on the Evangelistic
Field preaching and seeing people filled with the Holy Ghost. Then God called me and My Family to pastor in
1986 and God has been Blessing us every since with Souls and A Vision and A wonderful congregation of people
to pastor. Then on the 14th day of 1998 God blessed us with A beautiful Daughter named Lacey Brooke Ellis who
has brought us much joy and happiness in our later years of pastoring, she also is our Miracle child if you haven't
noticed there is 15 years between them. Because of that people in our church call Sis. Ellis and I Abraham and
Sarah because of our age with A little one. On October 15th of this year Sis Ellis and I will be having our first
Grand Child we are looking forward to that for sure. We will be posting pictures of her on our website so please
visit soon and you will see our new Grand Daughter. We are so glad that you stopped by our website to visit we
